- It doesn't. Why should a parent who is financially unable to provide
- for said child be permitted to force someone else to provide for said
- child. The interests of the child do not come into the equation until
- the child can be provided for by someone other than the woman who is
- carrying (or carried) it. If the woman cannot afford the child, why
- should she have it?
