  19. God, I hate to step in and defend something Suzanne is saying, but I can't
  20. let this go.  What you are describing is the DEMOCRATIC reaction to the
  21. fact that Carter lost and Reagan won.  There is NO proof of any 'October
  22. Surprise' - the Democratic Congress even said so after their investigation.
  23. Carter lost.  And the left just can't acknowledge that.  Reagan *was*
  24. widely popular, and still is, even though there is a concerted effort to
  25. rewrite history.
