- God, I hate to step in and defend something Suzanne is saying, but I can't
- let this go. What you are describing is the DEMOCRATIC reaction to the
- fact that Carter lost and Reagan won. There is NO proof of any 'October
- Surprise' - the Democratic Congress even said so after their investigation.
- Carter lost. And the left just can't acknowledge that. Reagan *was*
- widely popular, and still is, even though there is a concerted effort to
- rewrite history.
