- True enough. Asserting that a right exists doesn't show that it
- should prevail in a particular situation because rights may be
- conditional. To determine whether a right should prevail requires
- consideration of its nature and source and of the other considerations
- involved. So what are the history, nature and source of the right you
- assert? Why does it override protection of the z/e/f?

- Many people believe it can be determined that there is a right to
- choose abortion without reference to the nature or value of the z/e/f.
- That puzzles me, because I agree with you that rights are
- conditional.
