  12. Bill Clinton is said to descend from Simon II de Montfort, a French
  13. and English nobleman (d. 1265) who owned lots of land on both sides of
  14. the English Channel.  If I remember right, he died fighting the
  15. Albigensian heretics.  No evidence for this genealogy was given in the
  16. newspaper I read.
