  19. Regarding LDS's desire to track who has copies of the GEDCOM spec:

  21. If it were made available only by email they would have a list of
  22. who got it.  Of course these people could pass it on to others
  23. but then hard copies can be copied (I've given copies of the
  24. PAF database spec to a friend which they supplied on request.)
  25. I dont know if any of the Email file servers will keep track of
  26. who got a specific file or not - seems like they might.
