- I don't recognize the names mentioned in your message, but I am
- trying to find ancestors and living relatives in the same counties
- you mentioned.
-
- I'm looking for PORTER, BUCHANAN, and SLAUGHTERBACK, SCHLOTTERBECK,
- or SCHLOTTENBECKER in Dauphin, Northumberland, and Cumberland
- Counties in Pennsylvania about 1750-1825.
-
- I'm also looking for SCHAAKE (SHOCKEY), GERLACH (GARLICK), and BORN
- (BORNS or BURNS) families who were from Germany or Switzerland and
- lived in Pennsylvania and Maryland about 1750-1800.
-
- I have a copy of a booklet on the descendants of Ernest Born and
- Ameila Gerlach who were in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, the
- latter part of the 1700's, which I'd be happy to share with anyone
- who would be interested. (I'm not the author of the booklet, but the
- author has granted permission for copying without restriction.)
