  17.      Friday I managed to grunt through the 1900 census records to locate
  18. my great-grandfather - Winfield Hutchinson.  Until then, I never knew his
  19. name but knew he lived in upstate NY, probably near the Canadian border.

  60.       Winfield owned his farm in Parishville, NY where Embert and John were
  61. employed as farm hands in 1900.  The 1900 census indicates Winfield's father
  62. was born in England and they immigrated here in 1850.

  64.       By 1920, Embert had bought a farm in Oswego County.  Lorenzo lived
  65. on Howardsville Road in Albion.  Merrit supposedly lived in Lewis County but
  66. I can't seem to locate it, yet.

  68.       Because of the commonality of the rest of the first names, I wasn't
  69. able to track them yet.  My grandmother was the only girl - Effie.

  71.       Any contacts?  I know a cousin was working on the family tree around
  72. 1979.  Curious to know if he is on the net.  (Something tickles my brain
  73. enough to say Carl's son but no guarantees and I don't know why I choose him.)
