  15.    A friend has an ancestor who was a member of a particular post of the 
  16. Grand Army of the Republic, in Minnesota.  This was an organization of Union 
  17. Civil War veterans more or less analogous to the current American Legion.  
  18. My friend knows the location and post number.  He would like to know if the 
  19. records of such posts, and this one in particular, are still in existence, 
  20. and if so, where they might be accessed.
