  20. Because THE sport of choice for queer gearheads who like to 
  21. be butch is climbing, that's why. (I'm not kidding about the
  22. gear, either; when I was at the Stonewall Climbers convention
  23. that was recently held in Seneca Rocks, W. Va., I noticed that
  24. *everyone* in our group was driving either a truck, a van, or
  25. a wagon. You need something big in order to haul around all 
  26. the crap that you end up buying if you stick with climbing.)

  29. the weekend, I saw a SCUBA group listed in the building's schedule.
