  28. A former boyfriend of mine who lived near him at the time ('84-85) claimed 
  29. Madsen had acquired something of the status of a celebrity around gay 
  30. parties in New York.  I can't vouch for this, it may have been just another
  31. bar bio.  I do know, however, that Soloflex was very supportive of us
  32. in the campaign against the OCA; I spent part of election evening at
  33. their headquarters in Hillsboro, OR doing last minute get-out-the-vote
  34. phone banking, surrounded by posters of really hunky guys...not enough 
  35. body hair, but I wouldn't kick 'em out of *my* bed.

  37. Last I heard Madsen was living with his sugar daddy in the LA area.
  38. This, of course, could also be a groundless rumor.  But a fun one, as
  39. rumors go...
