  13. Hello!  My name is Noah Smith, and I'm a student government senator at
  14. Northwestern U. near Chicago.  My mission in life is to find out how other
  15. colleges around the world do things, and to see if we can use your ideas. 
  16. I'll take any SERIOUS ideas (no flaming, please) about colleges, but I'm
  17. especially interested in the areas of race relations and campus safety, as
  18. well as news about any upcoming student leadership conferences.  I already
  19. posted a letter like this on bit.listserv.sganet (No replies, as of yet),
  20. but I don't expect any duplicates.  After a few replies, I'll write about
  21. how we do things here at Northwestern.   Send all replies to
