  12. This fall, our little bi group at UofC has been haunted by weird and
  13. unpleasant people.  The first were two dykes suffering from "ego a deux".
  14. One did all of the talking and the other sat around taking notes like a
  15. spy.  The talker was very hostile and threatening, obviously not 
  16. interested in talking with bi people about queer stuff, but only interested
  17. in being a pest at all the local queer organizations.  (They've shown up
  18. at the main campus gay group asking for cash, and haunted the divinity
  19. school queers also).  Now these women could have been interesting, they've
  20. started their own religion and church, but they (at least the talker) acted
  21. so bad we asked them to leave.  With much yelling and cussin' on the part
  22. of the talker, they left, but left us with a hex.

  24. Maybe because of this hex, we have another "haint".
  25. The second problem is a huge person of indeterminate gender (but claims female)
  26. wearing long grey hair in two pigtails and a "legalize marijuana" shirt.
  27. Now I'm a former pot-head myself, and would like to see marijuana legalized,
  28. but again, this person was disruptive, talking loudly in non-sequitors,
  29. wanting to babble about asexuality, canibalism, and trying to pick arguments,
  30. all in a haze of 1960's cultural relativism.

  32. This person also has haunted the campus Democrats, the Independent Voters
  33. of Illinois, and maybe the Science Fiction Club.  She obviously isn't 
  34. interested in listening to what any other person has to say, only in promoting
  35. a vision of society so vague, that when I tried to dig it out of her, it
  36. splinted into a thousand shards.

  38. I suppose we'll have to ask her to leave too.

  40. Now my question is, how do you other folks with bi groups, in Boston,
  41. Ediburgh, Bay Area, or wherever deal with crackpots.  You've talked about
  42. the sex pests that come through a little bit, but these are different.
