  22. Tom Sharpe, Riotous Assembly springs to mind. He depicted a latex-fetishist
  23. transvestite sex-crazed South-African woman raping a police officer with the
  24. aid of something injected into his penis. I've forgotten what it was, but I
  25. thought Tom Sharpe was reasonably well-informed about such things (he WAS at
  26. Cambridge in the sixties, after all), and the book was written in the late
  27. seventies.
