- While I'm sure you're doing so for a good motive, it's not
- wise to spread disinformation for any reason. The amyl-nitrate/drug
- 'cause' of aids was put around by *one* man, who is a homophobic
- bigot specifically trying to confine the problem to homosexuals
- and drug addicts. Haven't heard much more about him since there
- was a significant crossover into the non-drug-abusing straight population.

- *no* proven, suspected, or even posited (by anyone else) connection
- with Aids. Sufficient research has been done by many many groups by
- now that we'd know if there was.
