- Obviously you've been very unlucky, since that isn't the experience of the
- other posters in this thread. Personally, I have only experienced shit from
- the straight community (and very little of that, for which I count myself
- lucky). I have many gay friends, and I've had gay lovers, who have not the
- slightest problem with my bisexuality.

- Well, I think as long as no-one is actively oppressing you, it's fair
- enough not to feel part of the straight or gay communities; after all, the
- bi community (if you believe in such a thing, unlike at least one poster
- here) is clearly different. I do agree with David and Ciaran, though, that
- oppression from the gay community *does* hurt more, for more or less the
- reasons Ciaran gave.
