  22. Yeah, it sucked. Like how come they were happily married for so many
  23. years with an (apparently) burgeoning sex life and then suddenly he
  24. doesn't want to hjave anything to do with her anymore? I mean I know
  25. some married people feel that when they come out, but I would have
  26. preferred a little more exploration of the issues (since it was
  27. virtually a docu-drama).

  29. ALSO (ARGH!) _that_ scene where He (the husband) is going on to his wife about 
  30. "I think maybe I need approval from men" etc etc and she's practically 
  31. hysterical and he doesn't say "I still care for you this doesn't mean
  32. I don't like you or want you anymore, this is just a new thing" he
  33. just ignores her and keep warbling on with his fascinating new
  34. theories about his new-found sexuality... and she gets justifiably
  35. upset.

  37. God. I mean I loved it because it was one of the first gay positive
  38. films I ever saw when I was in high school (on video...), but talk
  39. about Bi-invisibility...

  41. I read that now when anyone discusses gay/lesbian positive films in
  42. maninstream Hollywood, executive X responds with "yeah, but what about
  43. _Making_Love_?" Apparently, it sank like a stone.
