Hmm this subject has always been kind of interesting to me. My sister is
also bi and has hinted at it to my mum and my mum took it just fine. In fact
my friend had a party and my mum came along and there was a lesbian there
who said to my mum" Your daughter is gorgeous and I'm really attracted to her"
My mum replied " thank you. I think she's lovely too" So if I ever get a
female lover in the same city as my mum I'd tell my mum. (I hope!)
AS for my dad......... well I didn't tell him iwas married until 6 months
later, I don't tell him anything about my life. In fact I very rarely talk to
him except to argue so I won't tell him I'm bi. But if he did know I couldn't
care less about his opinion.
Being married is a very easy way to hide. All my friends know that I'm bi.
When I told one friend that I make love with women he replied, "Well we all
need our little flings!!!!" Needless to say I don't see him very often. I
don't try to hide behind my marriage, but people assume I'm straight. I find myself constantly justifying why I married " He's American. i needed a GReen Card
etc etc." Plus everyone says I don't look like a dyke!!!???!!!!!! And this is
Dykes who say this.
Oh well, who cares what others think and assume? Actually I just recently had
a relationship with this VERY straight gut. I told him about my wonderful lover, how we meet, what she does, how i miss her etc. But he was mostly interested in the sex parts. HOw gross. Needless to say we are no longer together. Good!
