- A few years ago there was a high-profile campaign which tried to
- encourage Irish people to spend their money on Irish products rather
- than on imported goods, and hence more Irish jobs could be created.

- Two slogans/logos were used. One was the "guaranteed Irish" symbol (a
- stylised "g" in green). The other... I had to laugh when the newscaster
- mentioned it this morning, saying that the campaign may be relaunched.
- It is "Buy Irish."

- Can any Irish or ex-Irish bi-ters remember any more details about these?
- I am thinking that it might be possible to design a "Bi Irish" t-shirt
- or poster :-)
