- Yes, I have experienced a drop in mileage, and it's worse
- than 1 MPG--more like 5 MPG. My car (an 84 Fiero which I
- tuned up 3 months ago) is coughing and sputtering and can
- barely make it up hills. I'm going to work on it this
- weekend to see if a new gas filter helps (and of course check
- all the other usual stuff) but I'm certainly not impressed
- with the new methanol gas so far. I've gotta be spewing out
- more pollutants than I was a month ago.
