  16.         I tend to agree with ya Kenneth about the biggies taking over, but
  17. there may be a five - ten year lag time for this to take place.  So everyone
  18. and their uncle will put out VR systems until someone decides that this or
  19. that is the best way to do things; and there's your five - ten years.  Our
  20. mod seems to think that we won't see this flooding of the market for another
  21. five years, but our friends at Ono Sendai (TM) say that they are very close. 
  22. Here another clue at how close we are (At least this is my interpretation...)
  23. look at SEGA's latest series of commercials.  At the end of these commercials
  24. what sense do you get when you look at the SEGA logo.  Perhaps they are
  25. hinting at some VR brewing at their labs.  There are lots of rumors flying
  26. about both Nintendo and SEGA trying to put out the first HMD video game!

  28.         So, what does this all mean for our Mr. Tolman?  Well, it seems to me
  29. the more you know about everything the better off you are.  Go to school,
  30. talk to Dave Johnson, and create VR's!  Then show us how good you are, and
  31. then ask Bob Jacobson for a job... or maybe John Sculley... or maybe Ivan
  32. Sutherland... or maybe Jaron Lanier... (And you hear in the distance the
  33. theme song from Man From LaMancha)... or if you're really good you can ask Al
  34. Gore for some grant money and start your own VR company ( the music's getting
  35. louder now)... or maybe Steve Jobs... or (O.K. I'm being overpowered by the
  36. music).

  38.         I am also seeking to be a professional in the VR/VE/AR field.  I am
  39. going in with the attitude that no matter what, I will have enough knowledge
  40. to be involved in some part of this exciting development of science.  This is
  41. what I want to do and I am going to do it!
