  16. I was wandering around a couple of book stores in town last weekend in
  17. search of some present-day or near-future based computer sci-fi.

  19. No luck - so much stuff based in the year 2300+ it's incredible, but
  20. nothing based here and now (that I could see).

  22. Can anyone name some authors or sources of technological/computer
  23. science fiction?  Has anyone got any recommendations of specific books
  24. in the area?
