  15. Huminer, Rosenfeld, Pitlik "AIDS in the pre-AIDS Era" REVIEWS OF
  16. INFECTIOUS DISEASES v9 #6, Nov/Dec 1987, pp1102-1108 has a list of
  17. 19 pre-1981 cases that in retrospect are almost certainly AIDS.
  18. This was pruned down from a much larger list of maybes.  The
  19. first four cases had AIDS style opportunistic infections in 1952,
  20. 1958, 1959, 1959.
