- While we're on the subject, I will put forward the following idle hypothesis:

- Whatever UFO's are, they don't originate from outside the solar system. That's
- because it's not possible to develop the computational resources required to
- design, build and operate interstellar vehicles. By the time a civilization
- advances enough to tackle the job, programmers spend all their time in
- religious wars over operating systems and languages, and the programmers never
- get anything done.
