  15. While we're on the subject, I will put forward the following idle hypothesis:

  17. Whatever UFO's are, they don't originate from outside the solar system. That's
  18. because it's not possible to develop the computational resources required to
  19. design, build and operate interstellar vehicles. By the time a civilization
  20. advances enough to tackle the job, programmers spend all their time in
  21. religious wars over operating systems and languages, and the programmers never
  22. get anything done.

  24. For proof, look at the comp.lang.* and comp.os.* newsgroups, and extrapolate
  25. into the future :)
