- I'm sure probably few would object to you doing so, as long as
- you understand that science itself has no 'explanation of life's
- purpose'. If we make science into a religion and oppose whatever
- truly religious explanations there are with our new 'scientific'
- explanations, we are no different from religion. If we are no
- different from religion, we have destroyed the empirical value
- of science.

- By the way, in no way should you consider yourself alone. The
- appropriation of 'science' as a new religion has a long past, and
- there are currently many who would agree with you.
