  11. I am currently 8 weeks pregnant and 6 days ago I broke out in a rash that at
  12. first I was concerned was measles.  It is a very fine spattering of dots all
  13. over my body except my face, hands and lower legs.  In one square inch, I would
  14. say I have 10-12 red dots.  They are flat, not raised.  This rash comes and
  15. goes.  It is worse if I have taken a hot shower or have tight clothing ( say
  16. pantyhose ) on.  First thing in the morning it is almost completely gone.  I
  17. saw a dermatologist on friday, and he thinks it looks more like an allergic
  18. reaction to something internal.  It is definitely NOT measles or rubella, etc.
  19. I was taking a pre-natal vitamin which has red, blue, and yellow dyes in it. I
  20. stopped these on friday.  It ITCHES like the fleas of a thousand camels at
  21. times.  He said it is possible that it is a reaction to the changes in weather
  22. due to the hormones of the pregnancy.  Anyone else seen/had something like
  23. this?  If it is an allergic reaction, is this harmful to the baby?  Especially
  24. since I am in my first trimester.  Is there any kind of virus this sounds like
  25. it could be?  Thanks for any help.
