- The e-mail I've received is so far unanimous that I probably have
- a hemmorhoid or fissure. The main clue is the color of the blood.
- Internal bleeding results in very dark blood, but mine was bright red.
- Also, although there was initially no pain, there is now a slight
- discomfort, which further supports the hemmorhoid/fissure theory.
- Also, both my parents have had hemmorhoids, so it wouldn't be surprising
- if I develop them too. Also, essentially all the blood was found on the
- toilet paper, not the stools themselves. Being my typical hypochondrical
- self, I panicked and assumed the worse when I saw that blood. Until
- I received the first e-mail, it didn't even occur to me that blood
- in the school could indicate anything but cancer.
