  10.   Acromegaly is a disorder of the the endocrine system.  It creates
  11. too much Growth Hormone.  Typically, a pituitary adenoma is the
  12. culprit. I have just been diagnosed with this rare disorder.  
  13. It affects something like 1 in 40,000 people.  I would like to 
  14. find a doctor that handles lots of acromegalic patients, since 
  15. there is a lot of development in drugs and xrays (gamma knife).
  16. The developmental drugs are made by sandoz, I wonder if I could talk
  17. to them to get a knowledgeable doctor? Please let me know if you 
  18. know of such a doctor (endocrinlogist), or of any relevant information.
