- Personally, I'd save my money and buy new toothbrushes. We used to gross
- out students in beginning microbiology classes by having them culture
- their toothbrushes. And the older the brush the better the fauna!

- If you're paranoid about germs, I suppose a 5 minute^ soak in 70%
- ethyl alcohol (aka 140 proof booze) ought to do at least an adequate
- job of sterilization without being particularly toxic. Straight 3%
- hydrogen peroxide might work too, but I've never been particularly
- impressed with weak H2O2.
