- I'm no expert, but I've heard that soft contact lenses can absorb "stuff"
- from the surrounding atmosphere, so if you're exposed to non-healthy
- vapors in a lab situation, those gasses can be absorbed by the contact
- lenses, ==> even after the vapor goes away, it's still in the lenses,
- which are in direct contact w/your eye. This can also be a problem
- when wearing contacts to swim in a chlorinated pool.
