  15. I have been a user of Mathematica on the NeXT for some time and as seems to
  16. happen with many Mathematica users, I have begun to wonder if something
  17. more robust was available.
  18.  
  19. One of the first systems that I have begun evaluating in this regard is
  20. Maple V, as I have access to it on a Sun. However, as I do not own a Sun
  21. I am in a position to inquire as to  the quality of the user interface as
  22. implemented on a NeXT.

  24. I have heard reports that the beta-version was less than ideal, and nothing
  25. at all about the version that I presume has shipped.
  26.  
  27. I would therefore appreciate constructive comments about the interface from
  28. users of the release version.  Comments from those who have used both the
  29. Mathematica front end and its Maple counterpart on the NeXT would be
  30. especially valuable.

  32. It goes without saying, but I will say it anyway, that I will post a summary.
