- Hello everyone,
-
- I have been a user of Mathematica on the NeXT for some time and as seems to
- happen with many Mathematica users, I have begun to wonder if something
- more robust was available.
-
- One of the first systems that I have begun evaluating in this regard is
- Maple V, as I have access to it on a Sun. However, as I do not own a Sun
- I am in a position to inquire as to the quality of the user interface as
- implemented on a NeXT.
-
- I have heard reports that the beta-version was less than ideal, and nothing
- at all about the version that I presume has shipped.
-
- I would therefore appreciate constructive comments about the interface from
- users of the release version. Comments from those who have used both the
- Mathematica front end and its Maple counterpart on the NeXT would be
- especially valuable.
-
- It goes without saying, but I will say it anyway, that I will post a summary.
-
- Thank you all very much in advance.
