  14. Emma Gottesman suggests that I post my notice to the undergraduates also.
  15. Actually, my notice was addressed to "Everyone, regardless of their status,
  16. who is interested in learning new mathematics". In addition to putting
  17. copies in all faculty and grad student mailboxes, I also posted it on 
  18. various bulletin boards in the math department.

  20. One person who apparently is not a student stopped by and said he wanted to
  21. read Goedel's proof, which I agreed to do, but he never came back. Another
  22. one, who is a sophomore, stopped by a few days ago and expressed interest
  23. in mathematical logic, linguistics, languages such as ancient Greek
  24. (and reading math in it) and Sanskrit, and philosophy. That suited me 
  25. fine and I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes. Of course, I am hoping
  26. for people to talk to about the other topics as well.
