  10. Coming from a public high school in which everyone is required to take at least
  11.  three years of math, I feel qualified to say that the state of math education
  12. is America needs help.  I know people that graduated from high school not havin
  13. g even had a class of geometry.  Granted I do not like the idea of teachers tea
  14. ching to national standards, but something has got to be done and soon.
