  24. THE AIMS  of the  Congress are  to provide  a forum  to explore common
  25. interests  and  interplay  across   disciplines,   and  to  bring   to
  26. practicing  researchers  recent  advances   and the state  of the  art
  27. in  all  areas  of  computer  science,  scientific computing, software
  28. engineering,  applied  and  computational  mathematics.  The  official
  29. language  of  the  Congress  is  English  and  only  papers  submitted
  30. in English  will  be considered.

  46. MINISYMPOSIA PROPOSAL:
  47. The Program Committee invites you, as a potential organizer, to submit
  48. a proposal  for a  minisymposium. A  minisymposium is a session of 3-6
  49. speakers focusing  on a  single topic.  The organizers   should submit
  50. the title(s)  of the session(s) they propose to the  Program Committee
  51. as soon as possible. Minisymposium organizers are responsible  for the
  52. scientific quality   of  papers in  their sessions,  consequently  all
  53. papers invited by  organizers are automatically accepted.

  55. CONTRIBUTED PAPERS/POSTER PRESENTATIONS:
  56. The   program   will  also include contributed paper  sessions   (20 -
  57. minute presentation), posters,  and industrial  exhibits. Authors  are
  58. invited   to submit  to  the CSAM'93  Program  Committee  a  one  page
  59. abstract   and indicate  if they  prefer an  oral or  poster  session.
  60. Authors may  suggest the  title(s)   of   appropriate  session(s)  for
  61. their   paper. Manuscripts of  papers presented  at the  Congress will
  62. be   published   as CSAM'93  Proceedings after  the Congress. A volume
  63. containing all  abstract of the accepted papers and description of all
  64. minisymposia including titles and speakers known  by May 1, 1993, will
  65. be available  to the  participants at  the  Congress. Late  papers and
  66. sessions, if  accepted, may  be presented  at the Congress and will be
  67. listed in the Supplementum to the final program.

  70. Minisymposium proposals:  As soon  as possible; Early submissions due:
  71. February  1,   1993;  Normal   submissions  due:  May  1,  1993;  Late
  72. submissions: After May 1, 1993.

  74. EXHIBITOR INFORMATION:
  75. Booths and  tables will  be available  to companies wishing to display
  76. their products and/or services.

  78. WHY COME TO CSAM'93 ?
  79. Besides  the  privilege  of  hearing  the  invited  talks of leading
  80. specialists you will  have the pleasure to listen  to other lectures
  81. and to meet colleagues from many countries. The congress is the first
  82. to offer really extensive contacts with people "from behind the iron
  83. curtain". It  takes place in the  Northern Venice - St. Petersburg,
  84. one of the most fascinating cities  in Europe.
  85. Excellent accomodation in the Congress Centrum is offered at
  86. reasonable cost. Accopanying persons are welcome.
