  12. I think it was towards the end of August this year, but I may be wrong. The
  13. BB was discussing (amongst other things) about cognitive and generative
  14. linguistics, and David Pesetsky was one of the most prominent participants.
  15. At one stage, he referred to Chomsky's new minimalist paper and conceded
  16. (at least as far as I recall) it was a move towards the cognitive direction,
  17. with however Langacker (and his content requirement) having clear temporal
  18. precedence. Now, did anyone save this particular bit and if so could that
  19. person repost it or send a copy to me personally? I referred to this post
  20. on another list and got a message from David Pesetsky saying that he surely
  21. didn't say what I make him say or else that if he did he was asleep... I'd
  22. like to find out what he really said.
