  13. if you want to know about the Lorenz equations, check out 2 sources:
  14. 1st is Lorenz's original paper, _Deterministic Non-Periodic FLow_
  15. which can be found in Journal of the Atmospheric Sciences of some
  16. month in 1963.
  17. Another really great source, written by some students in my dept.
  18. and edited by an awesome instructor here at PSU, is _Lecture Notes
  19. in Physics_, the one on Nonlinear Hydrodynamic Modeling. The
  20. editor is H.N. Shirer. You want to check out chapter 2.
