- I am an environmental policy graduate student writing a long-ish paper on
- Geographic Information Systems use in water resource protection. I'm
- particularly interested in how GIS analysis is used to inform policy decisions
- about resource area definitions. Do people use numerical analysis, or look at
- maps? How are different land or water uses weighted in considerations of use
- restrictions and zoning?
-
- If anybody does this kind of stuff, or knows of some literature, please let me
- know.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
