  12. I am an environmental policy graduate student writing a long-ish paper on
  13. Geographic Information Systems use in water resource protection.  I'm
  14. particularly interested in how GIS analysis is used to inform policy decisions
  15. about resource area definitions.  Do people use numerical analysis, or look at
  16. maps?  How are different land or water uses weighted in considerations of use
  17. restrictions and zoning?

  19. If anybody does this kind of stuff, or knows of some literature, please let me
  20. know.
