- Hi,
-
- I'm leading a group of people in a contraption building activity.
- I'm looking for ideas for contraptions which exploit creativity and
- innovation on the part of the participants.
-
- The people(mostly adults from late teens to mid 20s) will be given
- approximately one hour to design and build the contraption to see who
- has built the most engineeringly sound device. I'm looking for contraption
- ideals which do not require expertise in any specific area of engineering,
- and would be cheap and fun to build.
-
- Some contraptions that have been built before include:
- - a contraption to protect a raw egg from cracking when dropped
- from a fixed height
- - paper plane with largest wingspan which could fly the farthest
- - balloon powered cardboard cars with the longest range
-
- Anybody got some other neat ideals????
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Jeff
