  11.      The subject says it all.  I might need to use a 28 pin surface mount
  12.      IC in a project.  I would like to know whether anyone has used surface
  13.      mount components in home made projects and how difficult is it?  What
  14.      layout software did you use?  I have PADS shareware, can I use this
  15.      to design the layout?  Also what methods are used to attach the surface
  16.      mount IC to the board.  I have heard of some electrically conductive 
  17.      glue which can be used instead of solder or maybe a heat gun?  As you
  18.      can see I don't know much about this and would like to know more.
