- The subject says it all. I might need to use a 28 pin surface mount
- IC in a project. I would like to know whether anyone has used surface
- mount components in home made projects and how difficult is it? What
- layout software did you use? I have PADS shareware, can I use this
- to design the layout? Also what methods are used to attach the surface
- mount IC to the board. I have heard of some electrically conductive
- glue which can be used instead of solder or maybe a heat gun? As you
- can see I don't know much about this and would like to know more.
