  16. Note that the DTMF tones are standardized world-wide, UNLIKE dial
  17. pulse. Now, not everyone uses ABCD or even * and #, but the tones are
  18. the same. That's an improvment worth noting.  Otherwise, every country
  19. would need their own version of the Touch Tune Songbook......
