- I have been given a blown up hard disk drive. When I had a thorough look at
- this beast I found a FET with a wee hole in it. I figure that it is at least
- worth a try to try and replace this transistor to see if the drive will go
- again. Ihave found out that the FET is an HITACHI D-pack power FET and the
- code (before it got blown off) was J132 Y, Ihave rang our New Zealand agents
- it is not one they stock, it is not one they have tech info on, and if I
- wanted one I would probably have to buy 200 (damn wholesalers)
-
- Can anybody help
-
- thanks in advance
