  14. If you have a Bell telephone, you can just unscrew the mouthpiece
  15. of your handset and tie the two output wires (cut and strip) to
  16. the two on the microphone.  I would recommend keeping the output 
  17. volume very low. I think that you can run the two wires from the
  18. earpiece right into the mic of the soundblaster as well. You may
  19. have to throw a resistor or pot in there.
  20. If your phone isn't Bell or easy to unscrew, there are many cheap
  21. phones out for $5 or you can subscribe to Time and cancel after the
  22. first issue and get the phone for free.:>
