  13. Someone wondered about the mortality of TV, VCR (and so on) remote controls.
  14. I don't know if this is what has happened to you, but I have resurrected
  15. a couple of dead remote controls wich all had died of the following disease:

  17. The transmitter usually have som sort of ceramic resonator. I'm not sure, but 
  18. it seems to me that the vibrations from the resonator destroys the solderings 
  19. around it. Anyway, the solution was to solder the resonator back to the pcb.
