- The control jack is what they call "control-L". I ordered the technical
- manual from Sony and it seems to be a serial port of some kind. I
- haven't been able to build a proper cable to hook this to my computer
- because the manual is a little vague. Does someone out there know how
- to do this?

- Maybe you could hack a circuit on to the remote control to "push" the
- buttons for you. That way if you destroyed something it would be the
- relatively cheap remote and not your whole camcorder.
