  19. The control jack is what they call "control-L".  I ordered the technical
  20. manual from Sony and it seems to be a serial port of some kind.  I
  21. haven't been able to build a proper cable to hook this to my computer
  22. because the manual is a little vague.  Does someone out there know how
  23. to do this?

  25. Maybe you could hack a circuit on to the remote control to "push" the
  26. buttons for you.  That way if you destroyed something it would be the
  27. relatively cheap remote and not your whole camcorder.
