  11. Hello, i'm thinking about buying and old 4 channel portable
  12. crystal scanner. what i would like to do is re-xtal it
  13. for the local amateur radio repeaters. (vhf)

  15. So I called radio shack and they have no idea if they can get them
  16. or how long it will take. Then I call a xtal company and they
  17. need to know the following:

  19. Actual frequency : just the straight 14x.xxx right?
  20. holder           : what's this? Did i misunderstand?
  21. tolerance        : is that ppm? what's normal for this sort of
  22.                    thing?
  23. load capacity    : is that like power capacity? what's normal?
