I have a Sony TR series camcorder which I would like to use for frame by
frame recording from a computer monitor. It seems to photograph the
monitor fine if I use AC power (I guess both devices sync to the line).
But my remote control (the only one available to my knowledge) plugs into
a jack on the front and allows either remote control (on/off from a
distance) or interval recording (say 1 sec every minute). But I can't get
what I need which is 1 sec every time I have a frame ready. Can anybody
tell me:
a) does some other source make a controller allowing to turn on for a set
time (say 1 sec) at any desired time, or,
b) does anybody know how the from control jack on the TR series is wired.
If it is a simple continuity system I could make a little circuit to do
what I need, but I am afraid to experiment with my costly camera....
