- I am not sure how commonly methylene chloride is used in paint
- removers, but it will certainly remove paint.

- I am not sure what "It isn't pure in any way" refers to, since
- methylene chloride can be obtained in highly pure form for
- research purposes, where it is an extremely useful solvent for
- organic (and organometallic) reactions.

- By the way, it does *not* remove skin (though it does tend to dry
- skin out by washing away natural oils).
