  10. HELP!  I aam a biologist teaching upper school biology, 
  11. AP biology, evolution and microbiology at one of the local
  12. colleges.  In our middle school (North Cross School, Roanoke,
  13. VA) they are being pressed to find a book that is appropriate
  14. for them.  I just reviewed a book, Middle School Life Science
  15. by Capra and Pratt.  It was horrible.  The whole organization
  16. of the book was poor.  No wonder we have a problem with science
  17. in this country, but enough of the "soap Box".  
  18.  
  19. Is there anyone using a text that takes a complete vview of the
  20. life sciences?  Something that combines information and hands
  21. on activity.  I would appreciate hearing from you esspecially
