- I am using methyotrophic yeasts as cell biological models to study
- degradation of intracellular proteins--particularly, comparing them to
- mammalian systems. In mammals, intermediate filaments have been
- implicated in degradation of organelles; on the other hand whether
- yeast even possess intermediate filaments is controversial. Anyone
- who is aware of information regarding I.F. in yeast, please reply.
