  12.      I know this isn't specific to this newsgroup, so please don't flame me for
  13. it (At least I'm not selling AmWay marketing memberships or talking about
  14. Larsonion Physics, anyway...).

  16.      I work in the planetarium here at SFA, and I was wondering if anyone had
  17. ever used the A-Bus from Alpha Micro (or Alpha-something, I don't remember
  18. what...) to control slide projectors in a planetarium or similar environment. I
  19. know the thing has several types of D-A converter cards, Relay cards, and
  20. Stepper Motor controller cards, so it should't be hard to do.  I am interested
  21. in any experiences any of you have had with the A-Bus in particular, but I am
  22. also open to suggestions regarding other products as well.

  24.      Also, I am also interested in new planetarium shows, and GIF images that
  25. could be used in shows.  Also, anyone wishing to correspond about planetariums
  26. will be welcomed, and I will reply personally to all messages.  I am not the
  27. director or the coordinator of our planetarium, so I do not have access to
  28. budget information or even original cost details.  I am only technical support
  29. here, and we don't make our own shows, (although it sometimes seems like that
  30. might be easier than masking/sizing store-bought transparencies!) so I do not
  31. have a great deal of technical expertise either.  I do, however, enjoy my work
  32. very much and would like to correspond to others who have similar interests.
