  19. The supernova went off Feb 23 1987, (by the time of the neutrino burst),
  20. which was a Monday, and was discovered on the 24th, by Ian Shelton about
  21. 33 hours later.  If you read about it in the next day's paper, then you
  22. probably saw it on Thurs Feb 26 1987.
